2019 Christmas with Genting International!

2019 Christmas with Genting International!

What a fantastic Christmas we’ve had! I hope your Christmas has been fantastic too.

Writing this blog retrospectively in January 2020 has been a real joy for me. Looking back, taking stock & appreciating what a fantastic festive season its been. Not only for spending time with my dear family & friends but also for my music business.

I had the opportunity to be Genting International Groups resident musician over the December period. This is a serious compliment as not many people receive this opportunity within the corporate world. So thank you to the Genting team! I’m chuffed to be hosting and performing for many of the big corporate clients.

What does it mean to be a resident musician for Genting over December? Well, it means performing back to back shows every: Thursday, Friday & Saturday for the month of December.

That’s quite a commitment around my already busy xmas touring schedule of public & private live shows (Inc. Weddings / Corporate Events / Private Parties Etc). But we smashed it! Achieving a fantastic result at each and every December show and I’m extremely pleased to have had such a great opportunity.

Throughout our December tour I had the opportunity to meet so many friendly customers and many MANY Christmas corporate parties. Lots of these parties booked me for their next corporate parties, which was very kind indeed! For those of you who have secured your Xmas 2020 live music dates already, thank you! I can’t wait to celebrate with you.

I also want to mention many of the Genting groups unsung hero’s – the staff! I made friends with many of the managers & staff. They made me feel at home & comfortable, which meant I could perform at my very best. They kept me informed about the local sites for a bit of Xmas shopping & kept me well fed & watered. You were amazing, so… thank you to you!

One of the staff actually asked me to perform at his wedding which was so lovely & another staff member asked me nicely if I could re-string their guitar as they played music too. I said yes to both requests & was more than glad to!

A few successes, stories & thank you’s. Just the right way to end the year.

I hope this blog was a nice read & look forward to seeing you in the next blog!
